Béaloideas Chiarraí believe that Folklore and Heritage are such elements of society and sight must never be lost as to the importance of collecting, preserving and making folklore available to future generations so that they can learn and grow from the experiences of old as well as enabling to develop a strong sense of the place and community from which they originate. The folklore of Kerry is also a very important element of the experience of visitors to our communities and should be promoted to them as strongly as possible to emphasise the uniqueness of the region they are visiting.

This site provides trail descriptions, maps and full details of hostels and other walker-friendly accommodation, offering services such as luggage transfer, evening meals and packed lunches, along the route.
